George Edmund Lodge founded UK based Lodge Tyre Co Ltd in 1936, mainly selling car tyres and accessories. Since then the company has grown immensely and now handles all major tyre applications and vehicle maintenance work. To this day it remains a family concern offering the same high level of personal service.

We have eight depots around the Midlands which supply tyres to all applications be it car, van, commercial or plant. They are situated in Alsager, Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Nottingham, Talke (Stoke on Trent), Telford, and Walsall. Altogether we operate a fleet of over fifty fully equipped breakdown vans which offer a 24 Hour Breakdown service.

The depots are primarily aimed at commercial accounts, however all depots do sell car tyres and car related services such as exhaust, battery and brake changes. Indeed at our Alsager, Birmingham, Talke, Walsall and Leicester sites there are dedicated service - centres offering MOTs and mechanical work.

We are also a key supplier to lease car drivers through our membership of Fit4Fleet and National Fleet. This enables us to service vehicles belonging to most leasing companies.

Lodge Tyre Co Ltd also has its own range of bead to bead commercial retreads which have set us apart from other commercial dealers. Quality of production is to the highest standard and we ensure that all products meet our stringent quality standards through using the latest ultrasound and laser technology. We own an Intact 1200 Shearography machine which is one of the most advanced tyre inspection machines available.

Because Lodge Tyre Co Ltd is independent we can offer any make of tyre to our customers at competitive prices. We are active members of the Independent Tyre Distributors Network (ITDN), National Tyre Distributors Association (NTDA), and the Bridgestone First Stop/Truck Point Network. This ensures we can service fleets anywhere in the UK and on the Continent.
