Lodge Tyre Co Ltd – Eastern Golf Day 2021

Yet again blessed by some super late summer sunshine and warm temperatures, the twentieth running of the charity event took place at Greetham Valley Golf Course earlier this week. The day was held in aid of Wheelpower (www.wheelpower.org.uk), an organisation ‘transforming disabled lives through sport’. Through the kind sponsorship of many of our major suppliers and the generosity of those attending, a cheque for several thousand pounds will soon be on its’ way to Wheelpower’s base at Stoke Mandeville.

Many were attending for the first time, and with the course in near perfect order, some competitive golf was played. With the sun setting and after a wholesome meal, the prize presentation saw the prizes well distributed. Some participants had travelled a long way to join us, and it was pleasing to see them in amongst the winners.
